It is recommended to avoid placing them in bedrooms because, according to the Feng Shui principles, water can bring anxiety when placed in the bedroom.

It is supposed to be the ideal sound and ambience for people who deal with increased amounts of stress in their life. Fountains are made of different materials, such as copper or stones and they can be found in retail shops. Due to the diversity and significance of their role, the Feng Shui fountains are becoming increasingly popular among people today, mostly in the West.
Having a source of fresh water in the house, or outside in the yard or patio, is considered to bring high levels of relaxation, spiritual and mental balance and prosperity. Fountains are also associated with issues such as fertility and children, and can be combined with some of the most known Feng Shui items, such as crystals and stones. People, who want to maximize the effect of water, should always check what fountains can be associated with and what can complement water in the most successful way.
