5. Will Feng Shui Make You Rich?

from:

Feng Shui principles and beliefs are most applied in order to acquire wealth and prosperity. Let’s see some of the most important tips and hints regarding the practice of Feng Shui for wealth.

Wealth is governed by the southeast direction and wood is the element in focus.

Before starting everything else, you should apply the basic rule that dominates the Feng Shui tradition and philosophy. The most important step is to perform a space clearing procedure so you can eliminate the accumulated bad energy. This procedure should take place first before anything else and is supposed to make the rest of treatments and cures much more effective.

Since the dominant direction is the southeast, you should keep the southeast corner of the house very clean and neat. You should also keep it very orderly, because it can influence and affect your prosperity. Light in this corner should be as natural as possible – not very bright and not very low.

Keeping a light on is also recommended. If you cannot have it on all day long, keep it on as much as possible every day.

Place an aquarium in this corner. Water is supposed to complement wood well, therefore you need some bright and active fish which can attract or produce positive Chi. According to the Feng Shui principles there should be nine goldfish there – eight should be of some bright/gold color and the ninth should be black. If you cannot place an aquarium there, you can try to place a small fountain or something that can add water. If nothing of that kind is easy, then try with a painting or some sculpture.

Use the sculpture of a dragon turtle. It is a very powerful symbol for Feng Shui and is supposed to reflect prosperity and success. You should place it in the north part of the house.

Use candles so as to energize and enhance the abilities of wood. Brown, green or earth colored candles are supposed to be excellent sources of serenity and energy.

The southeast sector should feature plants with round leaves, as they are considered to bring better Chi to the house and space.

The southeast corner should also feature some of the basic symbols of prosperity, such as a Buddha sculpture or Chinese coins.

Faceted crystals are also known to increase the levels of positive energy in the house.

If you use a computer for work you should hang three coins from it, using a red cloth or ribbon.

You should also place the sculpture of the famous Chinese Dragon in the southeast corner, as it is a very powerful wealth enhancer and attractor of positive energy.
