This can be a way to decrease your energy costs and lower your bills. With a grid-connected system, you are guaranteed to always have power available. If your system is run off of water, wind, or solar energy and that energy is not available you still have the power coming from the energy company to rely on.
Some of the technologies that are available for renewable energy include small solar electric systems, wind electric systems, hybrid electric systems, or micro hydropower systems. You can find information about these systems on the internet or through your local energy company. You can also get information on building your own system and what type of system is right for you. This can help you start saving money on energy costs and help you do your part in reducing pollution and protecting our environment. In the long run, you will save money and resources by creating your own power system.
